And on the second day, a beautiful baby handspun was born, hand wound and plied on my drop spindle. Totally Obsessed....
For perspective...
A second mini-skein plied. The colors are truest in this photo.
I don't think I have ever been happier just looking at a tiny ball of yarn. I'm a proud mama.

O they are pretty ... now the big question ... what are you going to do with them?
I wish I could figure out my drop spindle. I don't think I am coordinated enough to do it well.
Thaks for commenting on my blog. I guess my situation with my daughter is not so unusual. I am glad that it improving yearly.
Love your spinning and yes, it is an obsession. Each skein of my yarn is getting better and better, although no two skeins are the same!! That will make projects difficult!
Looked at your fire photos and they are very dramatic. Glad the end results were happy for you and your family! Liz
I really enjoy using a drop spindle occasionally. Of course, I can just add that to the list of things I have no time to do. Your yarn looks great. gilding from the Ravelry Comment Train
Combine them and they would make a wonderful pair of mittens...
